EFFICIENT COMMUTING
Light and agile with plenty of power to enjoy the daily commute or for new riders alike. Its powered by a 292.4cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, four-stroke single-cylinder engine which offers a responsive and smooth power delivery, with a balance shaft to keep the vibes at bay. The six-speed transmission is capable for highway speeds, slipper clutch for smoother downshifts when nailing those apexes and switchable ride modes, sport or eco, to enable further fuel efficiency when desired.PERFORMANCE ALL-ROUND
Grippy CST tyres and a compliant upside-down telescopic fork mated to a mid-mounted monoshock produce maximum feel, while J.Juan disc brakes with Continental ABS manage the stopping power.STYLE BY KISKA
With lines by German automotive styling house KISKA design, the 300NK cuts through the urban clutter. A low-slung headlight shapes into the angular larger fuel tank (12.5lt), while a fresh tailpiece completes the NK’s aggressive look.I'm really happy with the bike so far. Really good bike for me to learn on, enough power but not so much as to make it difficult. If you're price conscious and want ABS on your bike (look up the statistics, you need it) this is a good choice.
Edit: One year on and I'm loving the bike. It seems to be the perfect size for me. I mostly use it for commuting and never seem to lack power. I'm still learning so maybe one day I'll want something bigger but I haven't outgrown it yet.
Disclaimer: CFMoto offered $25 for fuel for this review. My opinion is objective but I would not have reviewed the bike otherwise. I updated this review as I was contacted and asked for an update however I was not offered any additional reward.
This bikes value for money is unmatched. The build quality ranges from good to great. Welds on the frame are of a high standard. Though there are cost saving parts, the bike operates and feels solid.
At 40 years old, 6'2", 100kg, I found the 300NK comfortable to ride for over 2-3 hours at a time. The bike is so fun out in the tight twisty roads, it changes direction easy. The stock tyres are good, felt confident leaned over.
The performance of the motor is linear and predictable. No need to be in the perfect gear with a nice spread of torque through the rev range. Enough power to launch away from traffic at the lights and cruise at 110km/h+, but not enough to get you in trouble when you try to run before you can walk.
Though I will eventually get a larger bike for ergonomic reasons, the 300NK has already given me such good times out in the back roads. This bike has confirmed my addiction for motorbikes and I will always look fondly upon the rides we had together.
Was looking for bike to ride while on learners permit ended up finding nothing second hand that could compare for price and features like EFI ABS etc. Only issue is a screw was missing from hand throttle and whole unit was loose by time I got home with brand new bike (10 kilometres ). Dealer supplied one from bike in showroom . Also CF Moto Distributor emailed me offering a welcome merchandise pack if I put review on Google. Done that but never been replied to since , stunned they ignore emails…. . Suspect if I need warranty it’s going to be fun if they won’t even give me a key ring and stubby holder. Loving my bike but hesitant to recommend when dealer won’t even reply to me.
