Leatt Z-Frame Knee Brace Pair - Black (L)

I bought a pair of Leatt Z-Frame knee braces because they're frequently worn by experienced electric unicycle riders who've taken tumbles/falls over the years. Even though I am slightly knock-kneed, they're comfortable enough to wear all day and walk around in. They come with a pair of leggings, but I prefer not to use them and instead wear the braces over my jeans. To prevent the knee braces slipping down, I pull my jeans tight via the cuffs through the braces while pulling the braces upward to their proper position before tightening the Velcro straps. I'm not a fan of the Velcro straps. Each knee brace has four Velcro straps and it takes a while to get used to adjusting them. Ease of use comes with frequency of use, but I'm sure latches would be less cumbersome from the get-go. The knee braces also come with little red wedges that limit how far the legs can straighten. I use the default ones which allows for fully straightened legs to I can walk around without looking like a geriatric. The knee braces come with different sized pads to support the sides of the knee while there is a gap between the front of the knee and brace to further reduce the impact upon the knee during a nasty fall. However, I have no firsthand experience of their effectiveness having so far taken no hard falls, and rely purely on the experience of other EUC riders.
