Black Clarino® is used for the breathable palm, which has an extra overlay of silicone printed Clarino® for added grip on the controls. Improved aesthetics include new 3D moulded parts on the fingers for impact and abrasion resistance, and a Knox Micro-Lock filled, plastic floating knuckle. A stylish dark reflective print rests under the floating knuckle: this is subtle during the day, but reflects under lights. The wrist cuff and BOA® fit system is micro-adjustable and gives a dialled-in precision fit around the wrist. Featuring the patented Knox Impact Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) with Micro-Lock on the palm to eliminate the grab effect that occurs when a leather palm makes contact with the road, reducing the risk of hyperextension which can be the cause of a broken scaphoid.
